STEP 1: CONTACT US

A project brief is submitted detailing formula specifics like cost of goods, target demographic, benchmarks, ingredient blacklists and can’t-live-without actives. The more detailed the brief, the quicker we can get you a final formula. If you already have one, prepped, great! If not, we’ll send you our template to kick things off.
STEP 2: SUBMIT BRIEF
Time to hit the bench! One of our talented chemists will typically start with a skeleton paper formula and ordering raw materials. Once we have everything we need, we’ll start making magic. Samples are sent out for review and we stand by for feedback.
Within 1-3 submissions, team CGL usually hits the nail on the head and we’re heading toward the finish line 🏁

Stability, compatibility, micro, RIPT. We stay on top of things so you don’t have to. You can rest assured your formula will stand the test of time and safety.
Stability testing conditions vary in temperature and light levels and are meant to simulate what will happen to the product during its life cycle.
If there’s more in depth testing required, we have a network of third party testing companies we can refer you to.
STEP 5: TESTING & STABILITY
A PO is submitted and we’re off! Now it’s time to get raw materials on order and get your project on schedule for production. Throughout our process, whether it’s during batching, filling or assembly we’re continuing conduct testing and monitoring every aspect of quality i.e. micro tests during filling + torque + fill weight + alignment + more!
STEP 6: MANUFACTURING
STEP 7: OUT THE DOOR
Woohoo! Product is going out the door. UPS, FedEx, LTL shipments, truckloads, containers; we do it all.
